Arivu can dance with gay abandon

Thank you for coming together and supporting seven year old Arivu’s education for an entire year.

Seven year old Arivu, studies in grade two in the school run by Isha Vidhya in Tamil Nadu. She has a younger brother who is currently studying  in kindergarten. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. The monthly income of the family is Rs. 2,500 ($ 60), which is barely sufficient to meet the needs of the family.

Coming from such a background, Arivu, is severely undernourished. Since she doesn’t have a balanced diet, she is prone to illnesses, and her concentration is severely affected. Your donations, Claudine, Bill, Jeff & Tricia and Dean & Julie, will enable Isha Vidhya to provide an entire year of school lunch to Arivu. This meal, which will be supplemented with a glass of milk, will ensure that she has at least one proper meal in a day.

Thank you too, Mark and Lisbet, for your gift of a set of two school uniforms which will ensure that Arivu comes to school looking neat and tidy every day. The pride with which she wears her uniforms will reflect onto her work too, and she will be unstoppable.

Thank you, Viji, for providing an entire year of transportation to Arivu. Now, she is no longer dependent on her parents to bring her to school, because of which her attendance will become much better.
