Ranjith thumb
Dear Molly, James and Julie, Jeffrey, Luke and Ani, Peter, Bill, Chris and Emily, Rao, Jaime, Katherine, Cindy, Craig, and Laurent,

Eight year old Ranjith is studying in the first grade and lives in a  small village called Ulundurpet in Tamil Nadu, India.

He lost his father when he was very young, and has been single handly brought up by his mother who is a daily-wage worker.  If his mother is lucky enough to find work every day, she earns about Rs.1000 ($23) per month. The family leads a hand to mouth existence, and they find it very difficult to cope with medical emergencies.

Despite their poor economic condition, Ranjith’s mother realizes the value of a good education, and ensures that her son goes to school every day. Ranjith  is a bright child child and is good in academics, sports and cultural activities.  If  given an opportunity,  he can perform well and achieve great heights.

Thanks to your generous donations, Molly, James and Julie, Jeffrey, Luke and Ani, Peter, Bill, Chris and Emily, Rao, Jaime, Katherine, Cindy and Craig, Ranjith would be able to attend school for an entire year.

Thank you, Laurent, for gifting Ranjith two sets of school uniforms. He treats them as his “best clothes”, and wears them with pride.

Thank you all for coming together in support of Ranjith and motivating him to do well in life!
